Just a few days away.

These past couple of weeks have been nothing but stress, excitement and feelings! All the feelings!

Let's just say that rushing to get my dress done because it was never ready when I was told it would be was crazy stressful! Yikes! I also JUST got confirmation that we can indeed have alcohol at the wedding, the permit has been issued since January but we still haven't received it. Aaron also just got his confirmation in writing that he can attend his own wedding! -__-

So as far as what we did these past few weeks... we bought all the alcohol and treats, we put together our playlists (still working on it), we finalized our table runners and aisle runner. I also had my final appointment with my photographer and I am so excited for our pictures! I basically confirmed all the last minute details with the venue and finished all my little projects. I ended up doing a project that I had scratch off my list because I thought I would not have time to do it. I am actually super happy with it! It's all coming together and I could not be any more proud of myself.

Oh side note... it's my Birthday today!! I actually was not super excited about it last night when the clock turned to midnight, I was a bit sad! I figured I would have more things done out of my list of long term projects but with Aaron's job, I have learnt to be patient... somewhat. And with all the birthday wishes I am receiving from friends I feel much better! Thank you friends! Oh and thank you Google, you remembered my birthday, how thoughtful of you!
I mean, how sweet is that!

Oh and what was even better these past few days is that on Friday I had a surprise bridal shower, I guess I would call it that, at work. I was so surprised! I am usually hard to surprise because I always end up finding out about it. They really got me. I was so surprised and touched that I cried a little. I'll admit it! It was really sweet of them to plan out a little tea party for me. It was great. Someone had been listening real hard to what I was describing when speaking about the wedding plans!

And as if that was not enough, on Saturday I had my bachelorette spa day with my maid of honor. I got pampered like never before. Had my nails and make-up done, all with a glass of mimosa, or maybe more than one! The afternoon turned into a dinner with my family and friends and then I went for some drinks with my two favorite girls, my maid of honor and bridesmaid! It was a great way to celebrate both my bachelorette and birthday!

Aaron Update
I don't even know! Ah! Isn't that the best?! They seem to be making every effort possible to make sure we have no idea what is going to happen for the next few weeks. I guess things are probably all very tentative, with nothing firmed up but hey, once this wedding is done, I'm planning a honeymoon.... gotta get started sooner or later. To be honest, I am just very happy we got the all clear for the wedding. I was so stressed about it. Aaron kept saying that he was not gonna get denied but until it was on paper, I could not allow myself to believe it. We are hoping that once the weather clears up a bit, he will get more freedom to move around and come home on the weekends. This wedding is not the end of things, we have big plans for the future and we want to start working on some of those plans before long, so the more time we get together the better we can do that.

Oh and my Fantastic YouTube Experience you ask? Yeah not much going on there. I still have the odd view here and there but nothing too exciting! I've been too busy with wedding stuff to take time to edit and post a video. The one I had for new years eve will probably never go up, it's a bit late now, don't you think?! I do plan on Vlogging the wedding day so maybe I'll have a video a bit after.
